What Is Interferential Therapy (IFT)? Pain Relief in Physiotherapy & Fast Healing
Interferential Therapy, commonly known as IFT in physiotherapy, is an advanced electrotherapy treatment that uses medium-frequency electrical currents to relieve pain, reduce muscle spasms, and promote deep tissue healing. It is widely used in rehabilitation centers and physiotherapy clinics for safe, drug-free pain management.
How Does an IFT Physiotherapy Machine Work?
The IFT machine sends two gentle electrical currents into the body that intersect deep within tissues, creating a therapeutic effect. This process blocks pain signals to the brain, improves blood circulation, reduces swelling, and speeds up tissue repair with maximum comfort.
